Winter Recreation at Paulina Lake, Central Oregon

In the winter, you can go snowmobiling, shoeshoeing and cross-country skiing. We have150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and several ungroomed cross-country trails.

Snowmobile rentals are available through a company called Paulina Tours, which was established in 1995 by Todd and Karen Brown and is still under the same ownership. Snowmobiling is great fun for the whole family! We snowmobile to Paulina Falls and to Paulina Peak, which takes you up a road to a height of 8,000 feet with a 100-mile radius view (weather permitting). There are several large play areas to ride in, and the tour  ncludes a stop by Paulina Lodge Restaurant for hot chocolate and homemade soup or chili. 

Winter season: mid-December through mid-March.

The resort is  snowbound, from 10 Mile Snow Park which is 3 Miles from the Lodge. 330,000 acres of designated snowmobile "playground" area available!
